Are you tired of hearing that yet? Sometimes I dream about those numbers!
I've told you from the beginning that most of the documents we will be working with would have a 2 inch top margin, 1 inch right margin, 1 inch left margin and 1 inch bottom margin. If you have not learned anything else as a Freshman at Ruston High School, I would bet you know that! Oh, I know you have learned much more than just margins for business documents.
I've had several students ask about the final exam for Computer Applications. What we will do is have four tasks; a memo, a business letter, an unbound report and a PowerPoint presentation. You will compose the memo and business letter based on a topic I give you. We will stretch the final over several days, so don't worry about not being able to finish. You will have plenty of time. In the meantime, lets keep working hard, and you will definitely not have anything to worry about when finals get here.
There are several things going on this week to get involved in. Go out and support the Lady Bearcats Softball Team and Bearcat Baseball Team. The Lady Bearcats have started the playoffs and could really use your support. Baseball will start the playoffs soon. And don't forget about TWIRP coming up May 1st. Some of you have been waiting for this dance for a while. Remember the theme is "Rave at Ruston" and you should wear fluorescent clothing that will glow in the dark.
23 more days . . . .

Almost done!
I haven't seen much of you this week! I hope testing is going well, and you are doing your very best. Remember the incentives Mr. Milstead promised. If you will think back to the beginning of the year at the first pep rally, all those students got money and jeans passes for their scores. You get to be a part of that this year. Mr. Milstead does pay up! One more day, and we will be back on regular schedule. I hope you are ready to get back into the groove, if only for a few more weeks. I had a student tell me we have 5 more Mondays to go. I'm not sure if that is correct (why don't one of you figure that out for ALL of us), but I know we don't have many. We have a lot to accomplish before the end of school. Stay focused on your tests for now, get plenty of rest, and do your best! I will see you in the next couple of days!

Austin, Texas
Hello from Austin, and welcome back from Spring Break. I am in Austin, Texas right now doing some job shadowing at Manor High Tech High School. I've learned some interesting things today, and hope to learn much more tomorrow before heading home on Thursday. I will be back at school on Friday. We will review formatting memos Friday, and start learning about letters on Monday.
We are working toward the end of the year now. Let's go out with a bang!
See you Friday!
